Terms of service
Effective [effective date]
These terms are the agreement between you (or the business you sign up for) and [company name] for using Lissoss. By creating a workspace, you accept them. Our privacy policy explains how data is handled, and our data processing addendum, available on request, covers the visitor data we process for you.
1. The service
Lissoss records how visitors move through your website, finds where they get stuck, and uses AI to explain it in plain language and suggest fixes. We keep improving it, so features may change. If we remove something central to a paid plan, we will tell you first.
2. Your account
- You need a verified email address to create a workspace. Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including what invited teammates do.
- The person who creates the workspace is its admin and decides who else gets access.
3. Free trial
New workspaces get a 14-day free trial with no card required. When it ends, nothing is charged and nothing is deleted. Your dashboards and everything already generated stay readable, but new AI analyses pause until you choose a plan.
4. Plans, billing and cancelling
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe: Starter $49, Growth $149, Scale $399 per month, plus any taxes.
- Each plan includes a monthly number of AI actions and sites, shown on the pricing page and on your Plan & usage page. Unused AI actions don't carry over. When they run out, new AI runs pause until the 1st of the month or until you upgrade. Reading results you already have is always free.
- You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and we don't refund partial months.
- If we change prices, we will email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.
5. Your responsibilities as a site owner
You decide to track the visitors to your website, so you are responsible for doing it lawfully. In particular, you agree to:
- install the snippet only on websites you own or are authorised to manage;
- tell your visitors about it in your own privacy notice, and get their consent where the law requires it. The built-in banner asks by default; if you replace it with your own consent tool, you are responsible for wiring it up correctly;
- not use Lissoss on pages that reveal special categories of data (for example health, religion or sexuality) or that target children;
- pass on requests from your visitors to see or delete their data, and use the erase function when you are asked to.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use Lissoss to:
- break the law or anyone else's rights;
- try to identify individual visitors, or combine our data with other sources to do so;
- probe, overload or get around the service's limits or security, or access another workspace's data;
- resell the service without our written agreement.
We may suspend a workspace that puts the service or other customers at risk. We will tell you why, and restore it once the problem is fixed.
7. Your data
Your data stays yours, and that includes the analyses and recommendations generated for you. You allow us to process it only to run the service for you. We don't sell it, and we don't use one customer's data to serve another. You can export your sessions at any time, and when you close your workspace, we delete its data as described in the privacy policy.
8. AI suggestions are suggestions
AI explanations and fixes are educated guesses based on behaviour data. They can be wrong. Review them before you act on them. Lissoss also checks whether a fix worked using your own numbers afterwards, and that check is the part to trust.
9. Availability
We work hard to keep Lissoss running and your data safe, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and outages at our providers can happen.
10. Liability
The service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or revenue. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by cancelling and asking us to close your workspace. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or right away if these terms are seriously broken. Sections 7, 10 and 12 survive the end of the agreement.
12. Changes and governing law
If we change these terms, we will update this page. For changes that matter, we will email you 30 days in advance. These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction].
